Data Protection & GDPR

Zero is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Zero collects and processes the following categories of personal data:

  • Account information — Name, email address, date of birth, and profile photo
  • Shooting data — Shoot logs, scores, classifications, and performance statistics
  • Armoury records — Firearms details, ammunition logs, and handload recipes
  • Certificate information — FAC/SGC numbers and expiry dates (scanned on-device, not sent to external servers)
  • Club membership data — Club roles, membership status, and governing body IDs
  • Payment information — Processed securely by Stripe and GoCardless (Zero does not store card numbers or bank details)
  • Usage data — How you interact with the platform, used to improve the service

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

You can request a copy of all personal data we hold about you. Use the data export feature in Zero or contact us directly.

If any of your data is inaccurate or incomplete, you can correct it directly through your profile, or contact us to request a correction.

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

You can export your data in a structured, machine-readable format for use with other services.

  1. Go to Profile in the Zero web app
  2. Select Account
  3. Click Export my data
  4. Your data will be prepared and made available for download

  3. Click Delete my account
  4. Confirm the deletion
  • Active accounts — Data is retained for as long as your account is active
  • Deleted accounts — All personal data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion
  • Free-tier accounts — Data is retained indefinitely, even if you are no longer on a paid plan
  • Payment records — Transaction records are retained as required by UK financial regulations
